I'm Emma...

...a freelance illustrator living near London, UK. I've been creating ever since I won a Raleigh Chopper bicycle in a painting competition when I was nine.

I was fortunate to start my career just as computers were becoming common in the workplace, and while my colleagues were little nervous of them, I learned to love the range and possibilites that technology can bring to creative projects. I have over 20 years of graphic design experience working all over the world with both corporate and private clients creating brand identities, websites, and marketing campaigns, as well as print projects such as business, wedding and commercial stationery.

I now work from a studio in my garden where I speacialise in illustration for licensing and editorial using traditional materials such as pencil, ink, paint and printmaking plus a smattering of digital magic to pull it all together.

I'm creatively inquisitive, love trying new ideas and alway ready for a challenge, so if you have a project in mind, I'd love to hear from you.

...I'm a support tutor at Central St Martin's University of the Arts, London on the Enhanced Illustration Short Course, sharing my drawing and photoshop skills...

...I still design websites and branding
