I can't remember a time when I didn't draw - from emigrating to the other side of the world by ship when I was five, when I would draw my own travel brochures to pass the time, to living and working in the UK and abroad as a graphic designer, I have always been inspired to capture my surroundings in sketch. That's me on the left, age nine, being presented with my prize for winning the Holiday on Ice art art competition.
Nowadays I am fortunate to be able to share my illustrated stories, turning my sketches of birds, flowers and favourite collected items into my distinctive designs for print, product and stationery. I love to use traditional materials such as gouache, ink, and printmaking with a dash of digital magic to pull it all together.
I can also be found on occassion sharing my photoshop skills as a special lecturer in illustration at Central St Martins University, London.
If you have a project that needs illustration, or are interested in licensing designs, please get in contact or sign up for my newsletter to keep in touch. You can also follow me on Instagram to see what I'm creating today.
